The installation part is the most cumbersome part for your the end user as it is something we have little time to improve. It involves 3 steps.

• Installing the program:
  • Get it from the Android market
  • Or get the linked apk file and install it as you can; if you don't know how, the use of such Android application as APK Manager is recommended.
• Installing the data:
  • Either run Warmux; once configured it will start to download the data files. Beware: this takes up to 15 minutes, the screen should not be switched off and 3G connexion is known to be unreliable (ie WiFi highly recommanded)
  • Or manually download the 30MB data file, unpack it to a Warmux folder at the root of your SD card, and add this file in this newly created Warmux folder
• Configuring the application: on first start, you will be asked in this order for:
  1. The place where to install data; if you manually downloaded data, select SD card, otherwise select what you prefer (if you have space, uncompressed data is 42MB in addition to the 6MB occupied by the game)
  2. The method to control input
  3. The sound buffer size: the bigger, the less stutter if your device is slow, but the more delay between an action and the actual sound
