Hi Everyone !!

I've heard from Mylad that the game needed more music... So I'm working on it !
I would like to know who to contact to propose my stuff :-)

Anybody, if you have special ideas, desires or so, just let me know so I can make more music according to what you wait for !
For now, I've already composed 2 tracks, in 2 different styles.

J'ai entendu dire par Mylad qu'il fallait plus de musique dans le jeu... alors j'y travaile !
J'aurais voulu savoir qui contacter pour proposer mon travail.

Si vous avez des idées ou envies spécifiques, dites-le moi afin que je puisse composer plus de son, et ce en accord avec vos attentes !
J'ai pour le moment composé 2 morceaux dans 2 syles bien distincts.

Mets les ici avec yousendit , megaupload ou autre... On essayera d'intégrer tes contributions au plus vite si tu es d'accord pour les mettre sous gpl et que autant que possible tu nous donnes les "sources".

Thanks for answering that fast !
I'll do that as soon as possible... which means, i hope, this week-end ;-)

The music I have composed - for now - are aimed to be looped. So shoud I loop them myself, or I just post them as they are ?

I hope I'll find the time to compose more soon, anyway I keep you informed.

For the sources, I have 2 questions :
- Why are they needed (just curiosity) ?
- And what precisely do you mean by "sources" ^^ ? If it's the scores, I could send Pdfs or so... would that be ok ? Or would a midi file be ok too ?

One last thing, I guess I'll only post in English since it seems more obvious so anyone can understand...

Hi,

What I understood with CC licence, is that you cannot use, modify, etc. my work without my authorization...
Which meant to me : Nobody can use this excepted the guys that work on Wormux because I give them the right to do so !

As a Matter of fact, i'm not very used to those kind of licences... But, still, if I agree that the Wormux Community can use these works, is there still a problem ?

Wormux is a project under the GPL, if we add only 1 file not compatible with the GPL, the project Wormux as a whole will no longer GPL.
The principle is not that a person allows or not the use of his work by Wormux, but everyone must can to use, distribute, modify and resell Wormux without permission (as long as you respect the terms of the GPL)
The GPL is not very suitable for music or graphics.
In these cases, we use CC licenses. The problem is that some variants of the CC licenses are too restrictive and not compatible with the GPL (ie: CC-by-nd).
You understand the problem ?

Worse than that. We simply can't merge licence-incompatible stuff: the result is not redistribuable. To make it so, you would have to ask every contributor to what is distributed to agree to a specific license. Not really likely.
