Hi!
We've just upgraded our most valued game from 0.8.4 to 0.8.5
Since this upgrade we aren't able to start new network games.
The player who hosts the game sees the wormux loading splash screen and here
the applications hangs forever.
Is there any log file which we can readout?
We tried this on Vista and XP, each of them in client as well as in server mode.
Best regards,
t3_chris

Maybe there's a problem specific to the Windows version :/ It has been mostly tested under Linux since our Windows packager is not very active.
Thanks for your bug report! We will try to fix it as soon as possible!

Following the tests ive just done, it seems to be linked to the windows package:
1st test: both players on windows => game fails
2nd test: both players on linux => game works
3rd test: game master on windows and client on linux => game works
4th test: game master on linux and client on windows => game fails
I think that it only happens when the client is using windows package, then...

Note that this fixed bug strangely happens sometimes only on windows:

I hope you have seen that the bug on the Windows version has been fixed several days ago!
Thanks a lot!
I have a similar problem on Ubuntu 8.10, also I'm getting no sound (using ALSA drivers). Is there a way to download this from a repo? The last version to hit Intrepid works fine (.81)but is too old to be well supported. Thanks
