Hi guys, I am new to programming and I hope that one day I might be as skilled as you guys, (after what I have read in the code) I hope you don't mind that I am a newbie asking for help with things that may seem obvious to you but here goes:
What I did was I downloaded the Wormux source code and the game and everything and I know how to change the code (abit) but I don't know how to debug the Wormux source code, I tried messing around with the makefile thing and I checked the "compile wormux" documentation but in the documentation it seems to be a page of how to compile Wormux in Linux, (and there is a TODO saying that the page for windows isn't created yet)
I want increase my programming knowledge by programming this game but I don't know how to debug it, so please help me guys.
PS: My OS is Windows Vista.

What kind of IDE/compiler is your favourite?
Sorry for not replying too long, my favourite compiler is Visual C++ and second favourite is Code::Blocks.
The MSVC project file works at least with Visual Studio 2005 Express. Haven't tested any other version, but it needs at least 2005 version. However, this project file hasn't been updated in a while, and probably needs a good deal of update.
Another way to compile under windows is using mingw environment. Code::Blocks might integrate with it, but not sure at all: I haven't tested any IDE for mingw (like Dev Studio or whatever).
